The election is over, so how did Luigi call it?

I am writing this column before the election. Because deadlines do not permit me to wait till the election is over I have to consider what will happen depending on who wins.

I will start with the great Obama. If he won the United States of America will never be the same again. This once great nation will become a weak socialist country and fade away.

We also need to get ready for the greatest increase in government in our lifetime. We need to prepare for the largest tax increases in our history as well.

Under the Democrats plans no matter what they say they will socialize that as well as other aspects of our lives. Distributing the wealth will be the theme of this administration. Because if you work hard and make to much money (which will be determined by the Obama administration) you need to pay more so the people that are not working can have some of the things you have from hard work.

Censorship will be back. The fairness doctrine, which the Democrats want to pass now, will go through fast. This is where if a radio station airs a conservative talk show host with a 3 hour show the station (by order of the government) must also have a 3 hour how of opposing views. So now they will want to control free speech as well.

If John McCain has won, we will go on and be able to allow the government to be of the people and for the people and maybe get things changed depending on the Democratic controlled houses.

McCain will restore what this country needs. He will be a president that will work with the people to get us back on track and to take this country back to what is should be as a shining example of Democracy.

It is difficult writing this today to know who will win. The polls have tightened up and it should be a close race. But some things I think are just meant to be. Is it meant for Obama to win so that the United States will start to fall apart as history predicts with any Democracy? Could this be the man who in the God’s plan was groomed to take down this country? I’m not sure because I am not sure who won. But I can tell you if it is Obama then this country is on the downward slide.

As with any democracy they never last that long. Man has a way of destroying the good for selfish reasons. I can see that already happening without an Obama Presidency. The removal of god from just about everything out there, the morals of people, the greed and corruption that is increasing at what appears to be lightening speed. It in inevitable that we will destroy ourselves. It is just a matter of when.

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE? This is the most interesting thing I’ve read in a long time. The sad thing about it, you can see it coming.

I have always heard about this democracy countdown. It is interesting to see it in print.

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a

permanent form of government.”

“A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters

discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public

treasury”.

“From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who

promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result

that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which

is always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years”

’During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the

following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;

2. from spiritual faith to great courage;

3. from courage to liberty;

4. from liberty to abundance;

5. from abundance to complacency;

6. from complacency to apathy;

7. from apathy to dependence;

8. from dependence back into bondage’

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19

Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000

Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million

Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:

Democrats: 13.2

Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds:

’In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare...’ Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the ‘complacency and apathy’ phase of Professor Tyler’s definition o f democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the ’governmental dependency’ phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal’s and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message. If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

God Bless America if John McCain is our new president and God help us if it is Barack Hussein Obama.
