Who won the debate? Luigi will let you know!
(by Luigi Luciano - October 15, 2008)
One more debate down and what did we learn? That if you appear to look better and can speak like a Tony Robbins you will win.
Obama looks like he won the debate. When asking people they agreed.
What I saw was a polished man who stood up on a stage and said all the right things and looked the part.
It is like seeing a Disney movie where the Princess looks beautiful and is elegant but in reality she really is the witch.
That is what I see in Obama.
He said nothing new all he could do is keep bringing up Bush and how it will be more of the same.
My hat’s off to him and my sympathy to the people that he fools.
I am not a McCain fan but I am less of an Obama fan. I am the first to admit McCain does not excite me. Watching him speak is like watching paint dry. But the difference is his experience at a time when we need it more than ever.
I love the way Obama tries to blame this financial mess on Bush tying Bush to McCain. In reality it is more Obamas fault that McCain’s. Obama was the one who fought for all those lousy loans that caused this problem.
Fannie and Freddie Mac started this problem and while McCain was signing onto a bill to fix this back in 2006 Obama was taking contributions from them and no one that is voting for Obama cares.
People are so caught up in the moment they don’t think. Last year it was the Iraq War. People were screaming for an end to it and the Democrats seized that opportunity by exploiting the families and friends of soldiers who died. Then the war went well things improved so people didn’t care as much. Then came the economic issues and people went off the handle and that’s the topic of the day. So blame Bush and link him to McCain is the motto.
People never learn that what is today’s news is tomorrows old news. People are hurting, myself included but they are not thinking logically. Everyone wants a change including myself. But to say you are voting for Obama because he will bring change and not understanding what that change will be is mind boggling to me.
Once the economy gets back on track, which it will do, we are then stuck with Obama and other troubles will begin.
Obama is a known liberal. He loves entitlements. He wants to expand the health care system to include everyone because as he said in the debate it is a right. Mr. Obama it is not a right to have health care. Just like it is not a right to own a home or to go to college. We all have choices to make. Taking the health care system to the government is not the answer. McCain said he would like to have open markets. Have people be able to purchase health insurance across state lines. I agree with that. I have a company with a couple of employees that I provide health care to that work in another state. Their insurance is half the price of mine. Why can’t I purchase that insurance for myself? Why would I want the government involved in any capacity with my health issues? Are people that stupid to think that this government will actually make it better?
Obama keeps saying he will not raise taxes on 95% of the Americans but reduce them. Doesn’t this guy know that 95% of people are not all paying taxes? The lower income people pay nothing. Is he going to give them money back when they don’t pay into it?
McCain says keep the tax structure the way it is. The cuts have helped. The economy was strong and employment was strong until this housing issue.
Speaking of housing issues as I said last week this is the fault of Obama and his fellow Democrats and supporters of Fannie and Freddie. People once again are too stupid to read the truth. They only want to hear what they hear and not research the truth before making a decision on who to vote for.
This election is really frustrating me more than any other. Maybe because it has been going on for 2 plus years but more so because of what we have running. McCain is not my favorite but he has more experience. Obama has zero experience and scares me.
This man talks about America badly every chance he gets. He associated with people like Reverend Wright who he said he has never heard speak like he did when he attended that church. He expects us to believe that he went there for 20 years and did not know what kind of guy this reverend was? He associated with known terrorists. His ties to Bill Aires the homegrown terrorists are important and not a single Democrat thinks so. According to Obama and his team William Ayers is a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with whom Barack served on the board of an education-reform organization in the mid-1990’s. What they are not telling you is that Aires got Obama started when Obama was a community organizer. They served on a board together. For the life of me I cannot see how any person that is in their right mind doesn’t think this matters. Here is a man that wants to run a country and is associated with a known terrorist plotted to blow up one of our own buildings and to this day says he is not sorry! This is what we want in a President?
It is crazy. Terrorists by their own words support Obama over McCain. I really think that these Obama supporters are like the Jim Jones followers. If you remember him he had his followers drinking cool-aide with poison. They were brain-washed as are the Obama people. That can be the only explanation as to why any American supports the likes of this guy at all.
I am not saying they should vote for McCain heck this is one election they would be better off not voting at all.
My friends, we are in danger of electing a President with radical thoughts and ideas. Not good ones either. Obama and his team will cause more harm for this country than you can dream of.
I am not worried about the economy. Things are tough and they might get tougher before they get better. The real concern is terrorism. We could have the best economy in the world but once the terrorists get control here on our soil we will be running day and night from bombs and killings. That is what is important. We need a leader that can handle that and Obama is not that person.
Wake up America and see the light before we end up with the biggest mistake in our history even worse than President Carter.
