Dearest Republicans, love Alan
(by Luigi Luciano - February 14, 2008)
OK. I understand that we all have different political views. We may not agree on who would be the best president but there should be some agreement on people that are so far out there in their views you would think they should be committed. A joke went out about democrats on the web as they do about republicans. I Laugh at them all if they are funny. Some people take it to the extreme. One person replied to all with the comments below:
Dearest Republican Axholes, (You fill in the blank)
Why don't you fools all elect McCain, so we can be the police of the world for another 100 years.
I guess we should all be proud of the Republican Nazi Regime:
Invades Iraq despite no evidence of WPNs (this should be WMD’s but this guy has no idea it stand for Weapons of Mass Destruction). Biggest deficit in our history. Most corrupt government in our history.
Hiel Adolf Bush. Republicans are the reason so many people have died and have been maimed. Your vote for Bush put blood on your hands. You are all murderers. A vote for McCain, or any other Republican, would make you a serial murderer!

First off this sounds more like the ranting of a lunatic not a person of logic who just disagrees with policy. Why do people that do not agree with the current administration have to resort to name calling instead of facts?
This has been an issue with me a long time. I am not talking about calling someone stupid or and idiot. Those are just words used to get a point across that I use often. What I am talking about is calling The President Adolf Bush? Call all the people that voted for him murderers, Nazis? Those are comments of an idiot. But as you can see this person is a proud member of moveon.org which is an extreme left fringe group of people who are out of touch with the real world. So that explains some of why he rants like a lunatic.
Sick talk from sick people.
They have this crazy habit of throwing out non-facts with nothing to back them up. When confronted on their points that is when they start the name calling because they can’t back up 99% of what comes out of their mouths.
They also just seem to go with the most current topic of the week. Last year all you heard about was the War in Iraq. People are dying we need to pull out. Well guess what? The war is going better, fewer people are dying and the liberal media took it off the front page. Why? Because it is election time and most people lost interest in the war because it was not being shoved down our throats every day with body counts from the media. So they panic. If people are not that concerned about thewar what can the Democrats run on? They turned to the economy. Now they can blame Bush for all the bad that is happening in the economy. Meanwhile they never gave him credit while it was good for almost 6+ years.
The housing market and those pesky adjustable rates. This is where it is wrong. The mortgage companies did what they had to do. They offered programs to ( according to the rules) qualified people and the people knew what they were getting into. But they wanted these big new homes and saw a way to get them. Low interest rates, low down payments and we’ll worry about the raising interest rates when they go up. When the rates went up and figured out they cannot afford them. So the government has to come to the rescue because people are not responsible. It’s the mortgage companies fault for offering people low interest rates. Not the home owners fault for not thinking ahead of what if the rates went up could I afford.
The economy will ebb and flow, as it has forever. We just want instant gratification. In the late 80’s early 90’s the government had to bail out the banking industry for giving those loans that would have bankrupted them with the amount of foreclosures.
In the 70’s we were rationing gas and had interest rates near 20%. It was crazy but cyclical.
The problem I have today is that although the government is in debt they keep spending on things that are really not important. Even when the Congress is trying to pass an economic stimulus package the President warmed them about adding pork to it. I could even believe that they would have to be warned not to add wasted money for programs they want when trying to help the economy.
So our economy is hurting and what do some of the Presidential candidates want to do? Spend more money. We have Clinton and Obama running around selling the idea that we need health insurance for all. We need extended paid sick leave. The question I have is who will pay for all these freebies they want?
Look at the facts now. Any one has to get health care in an emergency room even if they do not have insurance. I understand that there are many people without health care and can’t get the basic care they need. Why is that? Is it because they are not working? Is it because they can’t afford it? Or both? Instead of saying everyone has to have free health insurance how about getting rid of half the laws that stop the health insurance companies from being competitive? How about limiting frivolous lawsuits that drive the cost of doctors insurance through the roof?
All I am saying is that candidates run on fear and greed and in the case of Clinton and Obama they want you to feel dependent on the government. They do not want people to work their way up to become a success they want them to depend on the government to provide for them. The governments job should be to provide essential services and security for this county not getting into the health care business.
America was built on the backbone of people who worked hard and wanted a better life. Unlike many people who come to this country today they expect a free ride. Case in point with the illegal immigrant issues. They are here illegally and they still get health care, education for their kids and many other benefits that are suppose to be for legals.
Many of them work hard and there are many who do not. But work hard or not illegal is illegal and helping illegal immigrants get benefits that are reserved for the law abiding citizens is just wrong and not fair to the legal citizens who cannot get the same free services.
So when I see a letter like Alan sent it just confirms that there are many left wing liberal whacko’s who see protecting ourselves as a form of Nazism. They continue to bash the president as if he was running for a third term. They say we are the war mongers and we should talk to people not go to war. Well I say we tried that over the years and where did it get us? Attacked on 911.
Whatever you do make sure you vote and read up on all the candidates. We will be down to only a few soon and then the mud slinging and fighting will begin between the parties. We may never know exactly what any of them will do but we will hear what they want to do no with mention of where the money is going to come from. The people that will usually vote for them will do so because they will get a free ride while hard working people will have to foot the bill once again. Think hard and think long before jumping on the bandwagon for free services from our government because the old saying still holds true today. There is no such thing as a free ride.
