The top things of 2007 that ticked me off!

It is the start of a new year and I would like to take this opportunity to give you my thoughts on the ten things that really ticked me off in 2007. It was very difficult to choose, but here goes:
Sports:
Steroids. An amazing illegal substance that keeps people young until they die before their time.
The Mitchell report is out and it what will be done? Nothing. I am no big Bonds fan but what about the rest of the people who lied? We’ll find out more in January when they have to go before the Congress and tell the truth whole truth to at least what they feel id the truth…
After British soccer superstar David Beckham signed a contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy that could pay him up to $250 million, landed in the U.S. to great fanfare this past summer. The paparazzo snapped his every smile at a confetti-strewn ceremony. Injuries plagued Beckham throughout the season, and the Galaxy missed the MLS playoffs. Does anyone really care out Beckham and his wife? What’s her name? Posh?
Unions:
Speaking of unions, I think they all stink. They had a good purpose at one point but they lost their purpose. It is because of unions that we have to go outside the country to find people to make our products.
Just like the writers on strike they want more money that they feel they should get. Meanwhile thousands of other people who work on the shows that have had to halt production are out of work with no pay. What about those families that are not getting income? I hope that they will find replacement writers. I am sure there are many out there salivating at the opportunity. Now if they can only find someone to write the classified ad!
The only people that benefit from the union are the people that run them. When jobs need to be cut it is never theirs.
ACLU:
I hope this is the year that this organization is brought down to its knees.
It is the most useless organization out there. These people come into small towns and sue everyone from simply putting up a Christmas tree to speaking the name of God as well as numerous other lawsuits that the majority of Americans don't agree with. They care more about the rights of illegal’s than the legal’s. People like you and me incur the legal costs whether you agree with them or not. What a great organization! Free speech when it only is what they are saying and not what the majority wants to say.
The United Nation:
What purpose does this group serve? They pass sanction after sanction on countries like they did with Iran and never enforce them. When one sanction is breached they just pass another.
Then when they should be helping countries they are stealing their money. The United Nations is useless and we should stop funding them. Once we stop funding them they will cease to exist. The land should be used for building housing for the poor than at least some good will come of the UN.
Hillary
What a year. We have a presidential race that seems like it would never end. Is it Hillary or Bill running for president? Maybe this year people will really see what a sick team they really are. If Hillary is elected President I am sure we will survive (maybe) but what a crazy Whitehouse that would be. Bill would be running around chasing the interns again. Hillary will be trying to pass more spending bills so you and I will not be working for the government spending craze. But on the bright side we might finally have a national health care system. It might keep the people from Canada and England from coming here for health services since the waits there are so long thus freeing up more time for Americans if they can get the services needed. Oh but I forgot legal citizens would still have to wait since so many illegal’s are allowed to use our services free of charge.
Michael Moore:
What can be said about this guy without calling him names or speaking of his weight? Nothing at all. He is an (I'm being nice here) unintelligent, weight challenged, unappealing to the eye individual. He has nothing intelligent to say so he takes what other people say and splices pieces together to get the outcome he wants. Mr. Moore had is lousy film Sicko a documentary comparing the highly profitable American health care industry to other nations, and HMO horror stories. Yes I am sure there is horror stories about the HMO’s. There are horror stories with any business. But Mr. Communism as usual distorts the truths. Watch for a future columns on the average wait times for surgeries in the so called great National HealthCare Countries.
Vegetarians
Now these people over at PETA say that fish have feelings. What is wrong with these people? First don't eat meat, then fish, next it will vegetables. God created animals to eat. We are higher on the food chain so we get to choose. I can guarantee you that if Bears were smarter than we are they would not be sitting around saying it in un-animal like to eat humans.
Next they will be telling us since plants have feeling we cannot eat broccoli. Well that may not be too bad. Got to go, time to grill the London Broil..Um, um good!
Al Gore
Mr. Weatherman. The gases he should worry about is own gases. He certainly has enough coming out of his trap. He is the Global Warming Guru… The end of the world is in site. The world is getting hotter and hotter. The Polar caps will be melting away sooner that we thought. Oh my gosh what do we do? Let’s give Big Al the Noble; Peace Prize and a million or two dollars to go with it. I tell you I am not worried about the melting snow caps. Do you know why? Because it was less than 30 years ago when I was worried about the coming Ice Age. That’s what everyone back them predicted. Does anyone really think we can stop a global warning or icing ourselves? There were ice ages before we started polluting the airs and there was global warming before that as well. Did anyone ever hear of cycles? Gore found a new career. The Town Crier. Stand on his pedestal and cry wolf. The end is near that is unless the government finds ways to collect more taxes from us on things they feel cause global warming. Another way to make more money, scare people and tax them. America is great.
